6/13/07 – Wednesday – 68015 – 33 – Wellsville, OH – sunny and hot – low +63 – high +97
Saw a fawn, squirrel, groundhog, killdeer (bird), muskrat, bat, hen turkey and eight chicks and many lightning bugs
Today we had a little more to do on the Unimog and RV then we ran a few sightseeing errands:
1) Over to the Homer Laughlin Ceramic plant, where they make the Fiesta line of pottery (but they were closed for a big sale starting on Thursday),
2) To the Ohio-Pennsylvania state line to see the historical markers for the Seven Ranges (the official beginning for the surveying of the Western lands),
3) The Springhill Cemetery (to clean David’s headstone (Michael’s brother who died as a child),
4) To visit Hammond Park, trying to get a clear picture of the river but seeing the turkeys instead.
This evening we visited with Tony, Joan, Janet, Toby and Olivia.
